Description
The FRME Wireless ‘Next Generation’ Expander Module is compatible with all Fusion Wireless translators and the Conventional Expander. The unit increases the radio communication range beyond that possible from a single translator by relaying the radio communication to further expanders or directly to the wireless field devices. The flexible infrastructure design characteristics of the system makes it possible to build large fully wireless systems or add wireless devices into areas where cabling for translators is difficult or impossible. The expanders are programmable for alternative and redundant path to the translator, ensuring maximum reliability of the system. All expanders are fully monitored ensuring that the highest levels of life safety are maintained in accordance with the latest AS1670.1 2018 requirements and AS ISO 7240.25.
