Description
The FWHT-W P is a Digital Distributed Intelligence Weatherproof Heat Detector that has been completely sealed in a silicon gel to enable its use in damp and moist conditions. It is a point type detection device that continuously samples temperature variation in the protected area, to provide the earliest warning of a fire condition in areas where traditional smoke detection products are not suitable. The device can be used as a Rate of Rise or Fixed Temperature detector and is fully addressable. For harsh conditions the device can be further protected by installing it in a protective shroud. A protective silicon base backing (Axis-WP) is recommended when the shroud is not used. This also helps prevent moisture ingress into the termination area of the device.

- The device is terminated using the pre-sealed wires from the detector. Care should taken to ensure the terminations are sealed
- Addressing is done by using the Device Programming Tool, which will need to be done prior to installation

- Black internal disk to distinguish the device from a multicriteria detector
